… is how you say Happy Father’s Day in Italian.
Dad, I know you read this like the daily newspaper so let me say it here first: from getting my domain name to checking my archives for scripting errors and everything in between, thank you for making this site possible. Honestly, I hadn’t even thought of starting a blog again until you installed WP for me… and now I’m posting things like there’s no tomorrow!
I hope your day is golftastic – weather pending – and fantastic everywhere else beyond the green. Felice giorno del padre, papà, and see you in a few days. :)

Do you remember putting in a quarter, cranking the silver dial four times, hoping for the pink bouncy ball but getting the green one instead?
Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig sent oodles of these gems down the steep streets of San Francisco as a ‘celebration of colour’ in Sony BRAVIA’s 2005 commercial. This is, without question, my favourite ad of all time, especially because the accompanying song is by Swedish singer-songwriter José González… when you listen his music, his voice and the guitar are all you hear. Time stops, you hold your breath, and everything weighing down on you becomes light as air.
