It’s my birthday today! Pendant lamps, candles, do you see how I’m trying to integrate design into this post? Haha.

My lovely friends and I are planning to have a completely fruit-only lunch (my favourite kind of food any day of the week) after visiting the Mercato Centrale. We won’t be able to have dinner tonight though, since I’ll be heading to the Boboli Gardens to see an opera (Barber of Seville – very excited!) Instead, we went to this fantastic little restaurant tonight called Pettegola. We shared bruschetta as antipasto (soooo good) ordered both a primo and a secondo piatto. I’ll probably post the pictures up later! Before walking home, Dan and Liann treated me to a giant cup of gelato at our daily hangout, Festival di Gelato. Mmm…

Anyways, I’m off to Verona tomorrow morning to see Aida in the evening, then heading to Venice for the weekend. These are definitely going to be the best post-birthday days ever. I wish you all an enjoyable end of the week!
