Whether they are words or phrases or even diagrams, Kosuth’s conceptual art is almost always self-reflexive, questioning the very nature of art and language. In a way, this makes his work quite literal – but at the same time, it makes viewers aware of their subjective approach in trying to understand the meaning of his art. You contemplate the words, but the words reciprocate your contemplation.

Mostly, though, I just like neon lights. :)

    On a different note, yeah Spanish and Italian are very similar.

    i never even knew he worked in neon! i had only seen the chair-chair-chair thing before. i like this sort of work, anyhow. that last piece in particular. thinking, thinking… :)
