in the spirit of its title, i am once again posting stills from my favourite film since last year; reprise is still so beautiful to me, maybe even more so than before, and it helped me learn how to count to 10 in norwegian :-)
as of late, i have been patiently awaiting email replies from the billions of housing ads that i applied to in the past few days… as the saying goes, “keep on keeping on”. it’s a little frustrating not to hear back from anybody (and when i do it’s “that place is no longer available”), but swedish housing vocabulary is now set like concrete in my mind – which means i’m learning something at least!
Hello Joanne,
Am I mistaken or will you be staying in Sweden for a while? Have I missed something here?
Will think of you on the 11th! I am positiively amazed at the person you are at nearly 20. My style was not nearly as clear 17 years ago…!
Best wishes,
Jo
I’m curious too – are you moving here?! If you need any advice or recommendations, I’d be happy to help :)
The Penguin Cafe Orchestra (thanks for the reminder… oh! the memories!) playing in the background suits so well these visual film stills. Beautiful and inspiring… the two together have quite made my Monday morn.
It is so exciting and scary at the same time to be moving to a new place. Although I had it easy cause I have had relatives in each city I moved to in Australia. Hope you have a lovely time. Enjoy your last moments of being 19. I love that age, it seems like a beautiful number!
You must be excited flying to Sweden next month!! Have you started to learn Swedish yet?? Actually, my friend from Sweden is planning to visit NY in Sept. She will be finishing her study in college and going back to Japan in the fall. Which part of Sweden are you going? I wish I could visit there….
