i’m back! unfortunately i still need to settle a lot of things in terms of housing (been there done that and now here i am again…) but i’ll take a bit of time to tell you about a place that i missed out on when i was in london. this place is called unpackaged, an organic grocery shop that does not believe in the vanity of food packaging – materials that will eventually end up going to waste anyways. instead, customers are encouraged to bring their own containers from home while shopping. everyone’s a winner if you think about it… the owners save money, the shoppers can get the exact amount of produce they need, and the environment is actively respected! simple and fantastic.
Can’t wait to hear more about it!
Hope things settle well into place for you. I am slowly getting back to my world on the computer after a long break. Things this summer have been swell.
(Like the look and sound of that store.)
Welcome back :) If you want to read my story that was published, it’s in the latest issue of ‘Ponton’, most libraries subscribe to it and you can usually find it at more culture-literary minded places..
looks fantastic! hope the housing situation is sorting itself out :)
