i’ve been watching some bergman films lately so as to reminisce about my buñuel/bergman class last semester, to prep for my swedish film course in lund next semester, and to get used to the different intonations in spoken swedish – all this while gawking at sven nyqvist’s gorgeous cinematographic work.

is anybody else as excited as i am for this movie? and by movie i mean every aspect of production involved – the story, the cinematography, the visual effects, the acting, the soundtrack, even the kiddish font type – october 16th could not come any sooner!
